on Saturday 1/14/23 we took our dogs in for their annual wellness exam. our girl, Sadie needed extra blood work for her thyroid so they took her to the back to do all the testing/exam. when she returned to the room her entire backside was covered in a brown discharge that instantly made me sick to my stomach. we tried waiting on a tech to come back in and clean it but I couldn't handle it. I ended up cleaning her the best I could with paper towels. that was 10 days ago and her anus has not stopped leaking that brown discharge. it is absolutely disgusting and getting on everything in the house. we called today to ask about blood work results since we were supposed to have them last week and they told us she was heartworm positive.... the tech told us she was negative while we were there. so that was our first issue. since obviously communication is not their strong point my husband decided to go talk to the vet in person. he brought up the contradicing results of the heartworm test and they were kind of smart with their response telling him he obviously doesnt understand how a lab works. He then mentioned her anal glands constantly discharging and they said she just got excited it'll stop and when he mentioned that it started when they did the fecal exam they told him they never performed a fecal exam. the fecal exam is on our paperwork with a negative result and we paid for it. so that's our second issue. our third issue is the attitude the manager had with my husband and once his inner karen comes out he can't help it, he got an attitude right back. after that she told him to collect Sadie's records and to never come back. I have emailed them asking for a full refund because we obviously cannot trust the validity of the test results and now we have to go get testing done elsewhere. One result is contradicting and the other result we have they are telling us they never even did that testing. I do not feel comfortable trusting those results when they feel the need to lie about what tests were and were not performed. I am also concerned that the reason they are denying doing the fecal exam is because they might have ruptured an anal glands sac causing a whole other world of issues and infections. I cannot believe the headache they have caused us and therefore I plan on causing one right back. we paid $600 between both dogs and to be treated this way after being a loyal customer for 4-5 years is very disrespectful and very disappointing.
