Let me start by saying, don’t judge a book by its cover. Alan’s showroom—and Alan himself—aren’t flashy. The vibe is more “warehouse” than high-end design center. What you will find, though, is someone who’s extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his products.
If you’re looking for design consultation or hand-holding through style choices, this might not be the right place. But if you know what you want and value affordable prices without sacrificing quality, Alan is an excellent resource.

Alan is a real character. We found a Facebook video of him beating up a floor. We were intrigued so drove to his shop. It’s way back off the main road and we were a bit skeptical. However we had a wonderful experience talking to Alan and getting his advice. We bought our floor that night, Alan arranged delivery and the floor has been fantastic. His selection is fantastic and his prices are very reasonable. Two days after our floor was installed a delivery guy dropped a large piece of slate on the floor and gouged two boards.
