“I was devastated to learn that my rat terrier had Diabetic Ketogenesis. My heart was shattered. Everyone was kind and patient with me through the whole process. When I let my little girl go, staff was very compassionate. They did not rush me to make a decision.. Vet and staff answered all of my questions. It was a horrible situation but after the vet told me the diagnosis, the treatment plan, she eluded to the cost as thousands of dollars requiring hospitalization (IV and constant monitoring for 3 to seven days) and ended with “she has a very grime prognosis”, my world stopped.
