“10/10 would recommend! During my visit in Clarksville, I was in desperate need of a maintenance and re-twist for my dreadlocks.
I found MoJo’s through searching online and honestly it was the best choice. Having not been to a professional loctician in a while, Lavell made the experience a pleasure. From the first of many conversations we had while I was in her chair, I knew I was in good hands. Not only was she competent and experienced; she was a pleasure to work with. Taking me through all the steps and procedures she was going to do on my hair, giving me the knowledge to understand and take care of my locs more.
Lavell is a beautiful soul and runs her business in such a professional yet human way. It is a place where you can go and get your hair done by some of the best in the area as well as it being in a comfortable place with peace.“

“This is ONLY for Katherine Beckwith, the nail professional who just started at Red Ruby Salon. I have my own stylist I've been seeing for almost 20 years. And I'm not a fan of open concept salons where it can be noisy and you can hear everyone's drama. That being said, everyone is really nice. And Katherine is her own woman doing her own thing, in her own room! Where it's warm and quiet! It's also relaxing, warm colors, and her chair is so comfy. I started seeing Katherine at Hygeian, also in Clarksville. The folks at Hygeian were great, but Katherine is the best of the best, so when she decided to head out on her own, I had to follow! Katherine does AMAZING pedicures. I have the equivalent of troll feet. My nails are just awful. I struggle with crooked toes, crooked nails, and my nails become ingrown very easily. When Katherine cuts my nails, they feel literally perfect. They are neat, clean, no sharp edges, and the pedicure lasts for three or four weeks without me having to touch them. She gets the thick callus off . . . you can tell she actually gets satisfaction from shaving that dead skin off! My feet always feel so smooth and silky after she's done. I also get paraffin after each session. Please realize this is a podosafe pedicure and doesn't use the water baths, which can cause infection. Katherine also does manicures, polish, and many other treatments. She is a true professional, and has tons of certifications! I never thought my feet would feel so good. So NORMAL. Thank you, Katherine! You are AMAZING!“

The blend is so seamless that people at college don’t even realize I have extensions — I just keep getting compliments on how healthy and full my hair looks! “I grew my hair long for the first time in my life(I’m 40.), and i was nervous to get my first trim with long hair. My anxiety was through the roof as i walked through the building to get to Kalon. The environment upon walking in immediately gave me some relief. The room was beautifully decorated with live plants. I absolutely love the moss wall! Jasmine was so incredibly attentive to MY needs from a hair dresser. She was exceptionally informative and knowledgeable about hair care, products, hair types, etc… she gave me a cut that looks great with some layers and even did a really nice trim on my beard. My experience with her was so good that my kids and wife, who have mixed hair started going there also, and they love her as well! It’s the best haircut experience I’ve ever had and my hair is so much more healthy and shiny after following her advice! 9.5/10“

I came into her salon after I messed up my hair so bad, I tried to bleach my bangs on top of henna at home and it came out HORRIBLE, I was in a panic trying to find someone that would help me and when I walked into her shop the guy that was there told me she wasn't in and to call her to see if she could help. I got ahold of her and explained the situation and she got me in an hour later. She had already left for the day and was having dinner but she dropped everything to come in and help me. I cannot express how greatful I am that she did. I came in distraught thinking I had destroyed my hair and left absolutely in love with the work she did. I'm never letting anyone else touch my hair again, if you want your hair to look gorgeous I highly recommend going to her salon.“
