I had an AWD vehicle that was supposed to be transported to my mechanic for a simple repair. It was towed by Shackleford Towing by the two front tires, which I found out later should have been done on a flat bed trailer due to the AWD. I wish that I had known that towing an AWD vehicle in that manner would destroy the transmission, transfer case, drive train (and more) and cause $13,000 in damage to my vehicle. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement with this company to compensate us fairly for the damage they caused to our vehicle. I'm only stating facts due to the litigation process. Daughters car had to be towed in the middle of the night. Craig Wilson was very quick to text back and best of all he was there asap and we had minimal waiting time. He was very polite and professional and I will absolutely be calling these guys again
My wife and I would like to personally thank Leonard of Shackleford Towing for coming to our rescue on Sunday night July 30. We blew a rear tire on our transporter and after a nearly 3 hour wait , no fault on Leonard, he replaced the shredded tire and got us on our way. He even offered to bring us water before coming out to help us. Our New York move to Florida will include a story of Leonard's southern hospitality. Thanks again!!
