I never write reviews, but after my experience today at Parkridge Medical Center off McCallie Ave. I absolutely knew leaving that I had to get on here and leave a review bc the medical team in the emergency room assisting me today were AMAZING!!! I had a ring stuck on my finger after falling asleep with it on and my hands swelling in my sleep. I tried for 3 days to no avail and in pain. I walked in and soon as they saw it they put me at ease (me thinking i was a rare case but apparently not lol). After putting in my social they directed me to the "Rapid Care " seating area and within 10mins had it removed. I didn't have to fill out a bunch of paperwork... read full review

5 stars is for the surgery staff ONLY! Sept 2022 I had total hip replacement. Returned to my day surgery room, the nurse sat me in a chair and took my bed. No one made sure I could walk, no going to the bathroom, no vital signs were taken. The pain was extreme! The day surgery nurse finally came in with discharge to home papers. I asked her to call my doctor because of the intense pain. She leaned over and said “ you won’t get any better pain medication if you’re admitted than you will if we send you home”! If I could give day surgery zero stars, I would! Never again will I have surgery at Parkridge on McCallie!

Horrible experience for my Mother this last stay - Nurses (with exception of one)were not professional AT ALL - room not cleaned , had to request water to take meds that were just left on bed table- She had HORRIBLE spine surg.but no one appeared to CARE AT ALL!Linens not changed in four days -
