My mother has made a miraculous recovery at Kindred. She absolutely loves the folks there. They are kind, attentive and supportive in her care, and encouraged her to keep pushing forward daily. She had a long journey through two ICU stays and two Kindred stays, regressing completely back to square one with 100% mechanical ventilation required at one point, but she was determined to recover and the folks there saw that and supported her every step of the way. After four months of being in bed she has been able to walk again! Her small gains in physical therapy are adding up and she’s doing so much better! We love Kindred and couldn’t have gotten through this without the professionalism, knowledge, and dedication of everyone we encountered there. She is now off to physical rehab and has another chance at life. To say that I am beyond grateful to Kindred is a huge understatement. There aren’t words to express the gratitude I feel for this team of folks who gave her the support she needed to make a comeback. We will always remember this place and the lovely people who helped her.
