I am writing this 20 years too late but yelp was not available in 2003. My twin sons went to Mr. Roy for Taekwondo. They got SO MUCH MORE. Mr. Roy and his staff not only teach Taekwondo they reinforce values which are taught in the home including hard work towards a goal, teamwork with individual responsibility (a hard balance to achieve), manners and respect.All that being said if you are considering Martial Arts training for yourself or for your kids you should consider Greg Roy.
Our boys began taking taekwondo lessons last year, and have learned so much! They cannot wait for class days. I so appreciate all the teachers who take the time to instruct and correct all those little kids in the afternoons. They’re doing an amazing work!
I walked into Greg Roy's Academy about 2 years ago, a much different person than I am today. I was broken. Combat veteran with too many issues to keep my life straight. Grandmaster Roy and his team took me in and immediately made me feel comfortable. All it takes is 2 days a week, and you can feel like a brand new person. The Taekwondo tenets (honor, respect, ect.) are embedded in the instruction.Fast forward to today, I'm over 2 years sober, I earned my black belt, and I've never felt better, mentally. Thank you, Grandmaster!
