Wait times are horrendous, but the providers are consistently wonderful. Alicia Fox is excellent, patient and capable. The care is top-tier. Just know you may wait at least an hour to be seen.
My complaint is not my with Dr. I love her. My complaint is with the scheduling. Just signed in for my 10:15 appt with my dr. The person who signed in before me is scheduled for the exact same time with the same dr. How does that happen?? This could account for the extensive wait time every time I’ve come into this office. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. My time is just as valuable as yours and if I were to show up late I’d get rescheduled. No consequences for double booking and making me wait hours after my scheduled time. FRUSTRATING!!
I have seem Shawn Reuss (WHNP) at Galen for several years now, even drove back from Knoxville for ~4 years to continue seeing her. She is the absolute best healthcare provider I have ever encountered. She cares about both your mental and physical health, and i feel like I’m visiting a friend during my appointments. She has given me more support than she will ever realize. I cannot recommend Shawn and her team enough. Healthcare is hard, but I’m so glad she chose this profession because she is so knowledgeable and the absolute BEST.
