I took my truck to have a new motor put in it and a new chunk as well as new CV axles . After picking up my truck I parked it and only drove it to town once in a year and moved it from my carport to my yard when I got stuck . I engaged a four-wheel drive and got out very easily of course I only had to go in a straight line . A couple of weeks ago I sold my truck to my son-in-law . When he pulled out of my driveway it started acting like it was binding up and making a weird noise in four-wheel drive . It was taken back to this particular repair shop and they said that I had driven it 14,000 miles since I brought it to them . At the most I drove it 30 miles and my receipts show that . Anyways they did not fix the s***** job that they did and said that it had been too long even though the mileage reflected that I have not driven it . I took it to another mechanic and he said that the gear ratio in the trunk that they installed did not match my rear end . Additionally I referred a friend there and she took her car in for transmission problems to get a new transmission put in . They said that only Gear 2 was weak and then everything else was fine and that by rebuilding it it would solve the problem and the motor was running very strong . 2 days ago they told my friend that not only did she need a new transmission but she needed a new motor . I've been taking my vehicles to this place for 35 years or more but ever since Lamar the owner got sick the person who took their place has been doing a very sheisty job . I do not recommend them at all and I regret recommending them to my friend .

We have used Copper City for many years 15+_ and have never had a problem with the service. It is a small shop and sometimes you need to have a little patience to get your car serviced but will always use this shop.

Can we give them 6 stars? We would. Our van broke down just outside of town on a Friday afternoon as we were headed home after a vacation. They got a local tow truck (Boring's) to come pick us up in 20 minutes versus the 2 hours our auto service had told us. They sourced the part and got our van back on the road within hours. Their tech did great work and even stayed after closing time to finish the job and connect with us. Can't say enough good things about these folks.
