We spent a long time working with Sean and his crew at Laid Back Landscaping on a major project (they really are laid back and that comes w/ taking their time, you need to be okay with that LOL), a large deck with all the bells and whistles including a finished ceiling, weather proofing, and lighting, plus full landscaping around our new pool, sod, lighting, and mulch.
No project of this size is ever perfect or goes exactly as planned, and that’s where character really shows. During the build, we uncovered a potential column issue with our 1,000 sq ft deck. I let Sean know about a concern I saw coming, and within 30 minutes he was on site on a Sunday to walk it through and make a plan with us. That moment alone says everything about the kind of people they are.

First and foremost this place has a HUGE selection of plants. I love visiting small town nurseries/farmers markets. This place has the BEST selection of plants at a price you just cannot beat.

When you first enter you go inside to notify them of your arrival, (i can’t read so i just started walking around so i figured out the easy way later). The sweet lady (the owner) will give you a booklet with their complete inventory for that year with prices inside so your not wandering around for hours trying to find one thing, as well as she will give you a paper and a pen to write down what you have chosen, how many you chose and how much the product cost.
They have metal carts that you can easily fill and lug all of your plants around as you continue to shop. I’ve never been to a nursery where they have a cart for you which was amazing.
The greenhouses are very organized and labeled with what plant you’re getting and how much it cost.
A lot of these plants are very well grown, some even already fruiting! So if you don’t have the greenest thumb to start from a tiny seedling they have plenty of options for you!!!
I highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone it was a very welcoming and calm environment, you can tell it’s family owned and they really care about customer satisfaction, you never really see much of that anymore.

I have to say i WILL be returning to Verona Caney Gardens and landscaping, and so should you!
