It gives me great pleasure to write this long overdue review about Ms. Karen, the owner of Brownsville Flower Shop. Ms. Karen is an extraordinary person, hands down top-notch in her craft. A little background as it relates to my relationship with Brownsville Flower Shop – September 2006, the year I lost my beloved mother, Ruby Jean “Hawkins” Taylor was my FIRST encounter with Brownsville Flower Shop. Ms. Karen single-handedly made a breath taken Peace Lily Spray for my mother’s casket, an eye-catching standing flower arrangement, lovely boutonnieres, and corsages all for my mother’s homegoing. Ms. Karen didn’t know me nor my family, but I will never forget her kindness. I felt she really cared and grieved with me and my family. I did not write a review then, but I must now…Fast forward – many years later, I called Brownsville Flower Shop, December 2019, she delivered a beautiful wooden cross to my aunt and uncle that lost their only child. I couldn’t attend the funeral due to a snowstorm in Michigan. Then again November 2020 she delivered a ceramic musical white church to the same family, my same aunt lost my uncle, her husband of 40 plus years. I couldn’t attend due to the Covid pandemic. So, within 1-year my Aunt Beverly lost her only child and husband. As heartbroken as I was, I knew I could depend on Ms. Karen, the owner of Brownsville Flower Shop. She worked her magic again this year to help me celebrate my sister’s 45th birthday on September 13th. Every time Ms. Karen would ask for my thoughts, which allowed me to be a part of the process. She always took her time and I never felt rushed during our exchange back and forth. As I stated earlier EXTRAORDINARY person! One thing I know for sure, is while Brownsville Flower Shop is in business, it will be the ONLY flower shop, I do business with, in Brownsville, TN.Ms. Karen, during this pandemic at times this world seemed cruel, unforgiven, fearful, anxious, sad, depressing and I can go on… BUT people like you are a gift to the world. I am a firm believer when people do something nice for you – it’s a kiss from God. I would like to personally thank you for ALL you have done for me through the years. I appreciate and thank God for you. I pray God continues to keep you, your family and business healthy, strong, and safe.A kiss from your friend in Michigan!Wanda Sykes

Called them because the other shop didn't answer their phone for hours. I am so glad I did! Great price; beautiful arrangement; friendly folks. You won't go wrong here! This is my 'go to' shop for flowers.
