Pros: Great burial ground, burying a 9 m/o, 90% off discount, nice staff, effective communication
Cons: my child’s eyelid was left open on the non viewable side and that side was also sunken in and flat. That half of his lips was flat as well and his left arm was 3 inches shorter than his right, he was in a full onesie but you can tell he didn’t have legs, his torso was stretched down and his forehead was protruding 2 1/2 inches from his face. He looked like he was beat to death. The staff at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens were caring and professional. There was no pressure to get more than what I wanted. The visitation setting was well done. After horror stories I heard, this Funeral Home far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.
Gina Gaffney was an absolute jewel in helping my mother, sister and I navigate the details of planning a funeral upon the passing of my father. She was so patient and understanding, never tried to oversell us, and followed up promptly to any questions we had. The service turned out beautifully and dad received the honor and dignity that he’s so deserved.
