“After moving to the Greeneville area, I reached out to Rocky Top Veterinary Hospital (RTVH) to establish care for our cats. About two weeks ago, one of our cats became ill—he wasn’t eating and wasn’t acting like himself. I called RTVH to have him seen and also scheduled routine exams for our other pets. From the moment we arrived, Liz and Dr. Nix were wonderful.<br><br>Unfortunately, we made the difficult decision to put our cat down to end his suffering. Throughout the entire process, the care and compassion they showed both to our pets and to us, especially during such a hard time, were remarkable. They handled everything with professionalism and kindness.<br><br>Even though our first experience with RTVH was during a challenging time, I highly recommend their services. They made us feel supported and genuinely cared for our pets' and our well-being.“

They also were willing to clip her nails for me... when I picked her up, she was happy and not stressed... she even smelled good without having a bath. “We had to put down our dog of 10 years here Saturday after hours. He had diabetes for a year and was coughing up blood so it was time. Dr Mardicks and her attendant was were very compassionate and respectful and allowed us to hold him while he was put to sleep. We had never been here before but our usual vet was closed (the water was turned off in Greeneville this was a week after the flood of 2024) and it was after hours. Highly recommend. We will be donating our unused diabetic supplies and special food here maybe they can help someone else in need.“
