Infinite Contracting

I was contracted do supply Architectural design services for Infinite Construction. After supplying the design services for 2 projects I was unable to collect for services. I mailed invoices several times and tried to discuss payment over the phone. I left several voice mail messages but never received a call back from Infinite Construction. To date I have not been able to collect the $2700 owed to me for services. I would caution anyone considering working with of for Infinite Construction.

This company was subcontracted by Winmar to do my insurance claim for my basement renovations. The one wall was to be replaced floor to ceiling, they tried to get away with only applying mud to the bottom 2 feet just enough to cover the mold. Once I said it had to be replaced they then were going to only replace the bottom 2 feet even though the insurance claim called for replacing floor to ceiling. They did not show up when they said they would, left gate wide open when leaving, did not remove all debris and I have to have sanding redone because of poor job.

Make sure you get a written quote! Our mistake, was accepting a quote from Sirjioe (apologies if misspelled ), over the phone. He quoted my husband a price, saying that it was ALL IN, EVERYTHING INCLUDED. After work was completed and I was writing out a cheque, he said it would be an additional $500 for taxes. I know we pay taxes on almost everything but when you tell someone a price, all in, everything included, would that not include the taxes?? I thought we were hiring a reputable and honorable company . I guess not. I will not be recommending this company to family and friends .
