Black Hills Animal Hospital is a caring and compassionate veterinary clinic that provides medical care and boarding services for a variety of animals. The staff are kind, friendly, and attentive, making both pets and their owners feel comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Mez is highly appreciated for her top-notch care and her willingness to listen and provide helpful options. The team goes above and beyond, taking extra steps such as giving social interaction to boarded pets and providing updates during their stay. Despite the building being dated, the quality of care more than makes up for it. The staff’s genuine compassion was especially evident during difficult times, such as helping families through the loss of a beloved pet with kindness and understanding. Overall, the clinic offers excellent care, warm atmosphere, and peace of mind, making it a trusted choice for both medical needs and boarding.
Im older, ive had dogs my entire life and ive lived all over and can 100% without a doubt say they are the best vet ive ever been too. They take great care of our pets and they take great care of their customers. I will be extremely sad when/if we move away.
Dr. Mez is amazing and always looks out for the best of my animals. I e been a client here since high school and can't imagine going anywhere else. I appreciate how honest all the staff is even if it's something hard to hear.
Had to board my cat for 11 days, due to family emergency. I believe I was more stressed out than my cat ever was. The staff kept notes on his progress and after settling in, he was fine! They sent me a picture and it was a pleasant surprise for me during a difficult time. Staff was very nice and absolutely caring, I highly recommend them to one and all. In the future, I will be having all my vet needs performed here......thank you BHAH!
