“My house was hail damaged, roof and siding. We contacted Swett construction to do the job as an insurance claim primarily due to the review of the company. Our first contact was knowledgeable and reassuring, but there was a recent hire on the team that eventually became our sales contact. I am very happy with the work done in the end, but I am not at all happy with the way the newly hired sales rep handled most of our contacts. In January, we were discussing the remaining work and a potential upgrade. We were teetering on wanting the upgrade. During a face to face meeting we were given an invoice with a total final balance due after scope of work including the upgrade, I feel this was done to make the sale. This final balance was verified verbally with my sales rep several times during our face to face meeting in January to contain all the work including the upgrade and that this final balance would the the entire remaining balance upon completion and no more. Because of this final balance due we decided to continue forward with the work as promised. After the completion of the job in June, Jesse came to me with a bill that had a new final balance due of 50% more than what was quoted by my sales rep in January (the difference was around $8000, not exactly pocket change). I was floored. I did pay 25% and asked for a review of the bill. Several days later Jesse came back looking for the additional 25%. We discussed the issue. in the end Jesse did agree to discuss the discrepancy with my sales rep and forgave the additional 25% due. I am happy with Jesse and how he resolved the issue (sealed with a handshake). I feel that Swett, as a company, need to review the decision to keep this rep on the team.

The work done was executed excellently and professionally. They did all that was promised or resolved issues as they came up. The job was completed in a timely manner and within the amount of the claim (with the exception noted above). Thanks Jesse.“
