I’ve been going to southern charm with my pets since I was a teenager and I love Dr. M and the staff! They’ve taken such great care of my pets through the years and I’m glad to have found a great physician who genuinely cares about them just like I do!
They treat chickens! When my girl Mellow started acting droopy, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Southern Charm Animal Hospital even treats chickens! Dr. McCathey is a “chicken tender” herself, so I knew Mellow was in good hands. She explained to me that Mellow had pneumonia, and was very thorough in explaining what she had done (x-ray, long lasting antibiotic shot, etc) and what I needed to do to help her bounce back fast. We also discussed Mellow’s history and weight (she was the runt of the bunch, and still is on the small side), and some good options to help her put on some weight. Mellow and I are so appreciative of the quality care she received....read full review
