I started coming to Salon La Vie after negative experiences at another salon in Sumter, and a friend recommended this salon. I have been SO happy with my experiences here! I always see Jamie for my hair color and cuts. She got the perfect color for me for my roots that had grown in, and when I said I wanted to make a big change and try bangs, she gave me the perfect cut and taught me how to style the bangs and the face framing layers. Everyone at the salon is so kind, the pricing is very reasonable, and I have never had to wait long at all. Jaime is so fun to chat with while she does my hair, and the whole environment of the salon is professional and warm.

Kim did an amazing job. Full leg wax and a Brazilian. Great convo too...sometimes it's awkward but not with her. Her treatment room was perfect and I love the whole salon. Please go see Kim if you need all THE STUFF waxed!! ??

I had gotten a horrible hair cut from Great Clips, bald spots, and I was crying walking out of there. A friend had told me about Parlor Darling next to Baker’s Sweets, Mandy fixed my hair to where you could not see the bald spots. My hair was so pretty again. This is where my whole family goes now. The waiting area is comfortable too.
I have been to different babar shops in Sumter but non of them give you a reliable walk in services, it is so bad that some will even tell you they work only twice a week. They are not deliberate about what they do and their arrogance is even terrible. But when I tried Fadedbarbers shop, it was different, they have over 4 babers working in the shop, you have a limited wait time and the special treatment services was also given to treat my scalp, for free. Living in Columbia and working outside of Lexington i rarely make it to Sumter, but after struggling to find a decent haircut out here I made a trip to see Kathy and it was well worth it. It was great catching up with her and man it felt good to have an amazing cut and beard trim. Imma be making the drive more often and it is more than well worth it.

I took my son there to get his hair cut, let me tell you he hates getting a hair cut. But the dude that cut my baby's hair was amazing. He didn't take a long time. he faded it on the sides left a little on top and put a little design on the side. when we walked out my baby was smiling from ear to ear. He said he wanted to go there for now on. we didn't have to wait for a chair. it was only 15$ but I give him a 10$ tip cause it was an awesome experience. we most definitely will be back and I will recommend anyone to them!!!!

I've been here a few times and all was fine, but today was an excellent experience and I felt I needed to leave a review.
I popped in on a whim and in a bit of a hurry. They were surprisingly quiet for a Friday afternoon. The lady that greeted me was super friendly and then I was directed to a chair where Angel gave me the best pedicure I have had in ages.
She was so thorough. I cringed when she pulled out the pointed trimmers because I have been hurt with those before, but she trimmed my nails amd cleaned everything up perfectly. No pain at all. She did a great job with my calluses and was thorough but didn't file anything too much. She did a beautiful job on my nails and was so meticulous she used a paintbrush with acetone to clean up all around my edges. I have had SO many pedis where they just left the over-painted parts and said they would wear off. Which, they do, but still...
Angel was so great I got her name so I can request her when I return. Because I WILL return from here on out. I suggest you request her, too, but only if you tip well ?

After moving to SC 3 years ago I have only been to 2 places here for a pedicure and haven't been overly impressed, so I usually wait until i go back "home". I will definitely be back and I will absolutely request Kia!!!

Cleanliness: Everything that was used came out of a sealed bag. They use liners in the foot tubs and the store itself was well kept.
Stylist: Kia did a fantastic job on my pedicure. She was super sweet and we chatted about nothing like old friends.

I recommend this salon to get a haircut or get highlights or another type of haircut and they speak Spanish and serve very well.
The barber is well experienced and very polite and respectful. My son's haircut was pleased by us both. I also enjoyed the gospel music. It was a positive atmosphere, and I will definitely be returning for another dope cut for my son.

She does wonderful work. She takes the time to style and care for my daughter's hair. She even had to fix another stylist, from another salon, messed up job. We learned not everyone can do hair, and not to trust just anyone to do it. Ms. LaDonna is one of the best and very trust worthy. VIP Ink was an all around positive experience, starting with the phone call. The lady on the phone was very professional and kind. She set me up with an appointment and even sent me pictures of my artist's work to reassure me that he would do a great job. When I walked in, the environment was clean and inviting. My artist, was Jarrid Watts. He was absolutely amazing. I sent pictures prior of what I wanted. When he met me, he was prepared and presented me with an alternative so that it was an original rather than an exact copy. I let him do his thing and I was glad that I did. He is an incredibly talented artist. All the artists seem like one big happy family and they all seem to be very supportive of each other. I am beyond pleased with my experience at VIP Ink. I too was assigned WJA by home warranty to repair a toilet that we ended up just replacing. They were great. really nice and helpful. Told me about an issue with my floor that needed to be dealt with - they don't do that kind of work and didn't refer me they were just looking out for a customer. You don't get that a lot anymore these days. I would have hired them to do the floor work if that was something they did.Working with home warranty companies can be frustrating for both customer and contractor - I think we need to remember that when making judgements about the contractors they send out to us. I will say working with 2-10 has been overall pleasant. Much better than my experience with AHS. I appeciate WJA being willing to work with them and doing such a nice job.

The lady who answers the phone is so kind and understanding and Ashley was my technician and he was able to take care of my issue the first time coming out and he also took the time to answer all my questions and explain the whole process to me. I did not truly realize the difference in having a professional who truly cares about doing their job vs what I could do myself or someone only in it for the money could make. They are a local business which is nice because it keeps the profit in our community as opposed to the big corporate companies (who even quoted me higher). I plan on using them for preventative yard maintenance such as ants regularly now! I couldn’t even imagine calling another company as long as I live in Sumter and they are open!

The Customer Service in my interactions was tip-top tier. I will be giving him my business again and recommending him at any chance.
I had a 20-year-old sprinkler system full of rust deposits. They came out replace the pump rebuilt the manifolds and did not give up until it worked perfectly. Guys are great and reasonably priced!
We had some standing water and drainage issues on the back and side of our house. Mr. Burch was quick to come out, offer a solution, and give us a quote. They came out 2 days later and installed over 300 ft of 4 inch pipe, a french drain in the back, tied 4 gutters into the drain, installed 2 12 inch catch basins, and regraded the yard slightly. As others have stated, the top soil had some junk in it, but I took a rake and cleaned it myself. Eddie and his team worked hard the 3 days they were here and Mr. Burch kept good communication throughout on where they were in the project. I waited for a big storm before posting to make sure everything worked, and it fixed all the issues. Thank you for your expertise, the great communication, hard work, and fair price!

I had a dental emergency and I was in extreme pain the previous night. I had to do something ASAP. My husband called for me early in the morning before they opened and they got me in I was the first patient of the day. I was treated so well the staff was o nice and comforting to my dental trauma. Doctor hurst was able to remove both teeth that were hurting and accessed. I was nervous about numbing and the actual removal but there was no need to worry the numbing process was almost painless only slight discomfort. The extraction was pretty much pain free said aside from some slight pressure it went amazing. This office is judgement free and the prices were very reasonable. This is honestly the BEST dental experience I have ever had in my life. For sure coming back to continue my treatment. Thank you Dr.Hurst and the wonderful staff.

The atmosphere is very clean, comfortable, and warming. Dr. Addie Williams is attentive and caring. My dog Penny, broke two nails badly, on 2 separate occasions. Dr. Williams was able to see her the same day. Before contacting this veterinarian, I was calling around to different places looking to be serviced and to get Penny some relief. Some of the places I called seemed…short with me and no care in the world, but when I called Peach Orchard Vet Clinic, I told them my situation and when she said, “can you bring her in today”, …I told her YES, as I burnt rubber getting there! I say all that, to say this…if you’re looking for a vet clinic to take great care of you fur baby with such compassion …don’t walk…RUN…well I don’t think any one would be running…BURN RUBBER like I did and get serviced here! I brought my 13-year-old dog to Hudson Vet, who hadn’t been eating or drinking, , vomiting, diarrhea and very lethargic and the staff went above and beyond. The vet immediately made time to see us, showing genuine concern for my dog's well-being. The care and attention were exactly what you hope for in these stressful situations. The receptionist and all the staff were also incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. I couldn't be more grateful for the excellent service we received. We will definitely continue to trust Hudson Vet with our pet’s care!

My dog Belle just stayed here for two weeks and I am so pleased! They let me know how she was over the phone and told me I could call as many times as I needed to check on her and feel comfortable. She is so happy, and I saw they even did her nails for her!! I will definitely be using this boarding service again. They’re also incredibly affordable which is a huge bonus!! Thank you so much for taking care of Belle while I was gone!
Groomers are great with our pups, and they are reasonably priced. We wouldn't want to take them anywhere else.
