We have had an overall positive experience at Hillcrest Animal Hospital. Dr. Gilstrap is very thorough, takes the time to listen and explain, and has been compassionate during a difficult diagnosis of our Goldendoodle. I have also appreciated the location, helpful front desk staff, and care received over many years.
Came in for the annual for my dog who has high anxiety with Vet visits. Staff did everything right to minimize his anxiety. I know he is tough to deal with it so it was great when the assistant came out to my car to do the review of the appointment and collect information. When it was time to go in, they allowed me to stay in the room and soothe him as much as possible. He still had a hard time but it worked the best it could have! Quick, efficient and thorough! Hillcrest staff really make the effort and care about your pet. Very happy with their service!
We've been customers since we moved here in 2013. The Hillcrest Vets have helped several of our cats through their lives and peaceful passing. They are more than medical professionals. The have real heart❤️ and empathy,
The only issue faced by many of us is the cost of services. There is no discount that we know of and sometimes we have to bypass a treatment or test due financial issues. We wish there was something besides a high interest credit card to pay for expensive procedures.
We love the kitties, that are rescued and kept safe by Hillcrest Vets. Thank you to all the staff and Vets.
