We love Dunbar Funeral home! We recently lost a beloved family member rather suddenly. Dunbar is a family owned business and helped us through this extremely difficult time as if it was their family member that had passed. We know because of God’s love, grace and mercy and Jesus’ death and resurrection we will see our loved one again in Heaven, but that doesn’t take away our pain. At Dunbar, they patiently walked us through every step and took care of all the paperwork. This was huge. There is a special care the entire staff gave us. We highly recommend Dunbar and thank them again, for helping us through this extremely painful and heartbreaking time!
I would recommend Dunbar Funeral Home to anyone desiring a beautiful farewell for their loved one. This funeral home guided my family through two funerals over the past three years. These wonderful people treated the preparation of my parents as if each one was their family member. The staff is incredibly empathetic, thoughtful, and conscientious of their work. They were very patient and helpful towards all members of my family. They were always available to answer questions and managed all aspects of preparing materials for the viewing, funeral , and obituary. My brother and I recently had the difficult task of arranging funeral services for our mother. The established funeral home in Spartanburg has a more corporate approach. We chose Dunbar Funeral Home since it remains a family business. They have a more human approach, and that matters to my family.
