I am complaining again about the manager "Matt" At The Office Depot in rock hill sc on cherry rd. He blackballed me today July 26, 2024 to another Office Depot manager because I posted a bad review of the store in Rock Hill Sc.. He called the other store and poisoned the river gate managers mind before I could call.. here's the story.. i have had multiple problems and posted goodie reviews before but I think they aged out of they were removed. The manager is very sarcastic and rude at the rock hill Office Depot. I had left notice I wanted to buy some pin lights for my office and he took my name and number but never called. His disposition is very snotty and many of the employees rich you and watch you in the store as if you have "I'm a Thief" written on your shirt.. a second instance I needed custom paper cut at The print services and they botched the job after not properly wrapping the paper. I began to use The custom sheets and fount that they were all different sizes. Some were as Much as 1/8 of an inch off.. but the worst was the rude salesperson that waited on me. He took all the boxes of paper and shook them to disorganize them.. the manager is consistently rude.. just today.. I called the store July 26 2024.. I called about another print job.. I got the bald head manager "Matt" on the phone.. he is the rudest of all the employees.. he said the laser cutter was not working.. he knew it was me and I had complained and written a review.. so I ask was there another Office Depot nearby so he said yes.. call the river gate office.. we'll how about he called before I could call and the manager got on the phone already smart mouthed.. his name is Richard the assistant manager.. He was making smart comments because I ask how they would guarantee all the pages were the same size.. he says "we cut em what else you wanna know".. I knew exactly what was happening and decided to go to staples.. Office Depot is not concerned with its rude management and reminisced selections.. with that kind of management no wonder so many people are writing bad reviews.. I'm not using Office Depots rudeness and shortness.. I'll right a review every time I have a bad experience.. I don't think it's fair the reviews are removed for any reason. The public deserves to know..

I went in for just a simple process of mailing a package via FedEx. It was a bag of candy and a vehicle key. I was at counter by a worker to begin my request. The clerk became puzzled about the key and said it couldn't be done however she called upon another worker to verify this. He looked at the key and said no it could be ground or air shipped because of the small battery. He left and the worker continued looking at the key and then looked at me and said I think you're gonna have to take this somewhere else like UPS, which will do this for you. I was puzzled because he was willing to accept it as it was, as the key didn't have a battery in it. So there was some confusion on my part however, I took the key along with the other bag and left to head to UPS to get this done. I'm not sure if this was a new worker or a policies violation by shipping a key that possibly had a battery. It was frustrating for me to drive across town to this specific location and to get employees conflicting with one another. I do know, I will not be in the store again to purchase anything if I can help it. I am totally DISSATISFIED with the customer service and conflict between employees and this location.

A good franchise and just about anything you need for an office or home operation can be found. However, on this trip I could not find anything. Very frustrating. There was one young man and he knew where everything was. Very helpful. I found the one item, but had to ask him again, but he was with a customer and I had to wait. When he told me where the second item was located, I asked him why the signs did not reflect the correct location. He said that they had just finished a massive relocation and had yet to change the signage! I laughed. How funny and how busy that young man was all day until they got around to fix the signage. A good operation with good employees.
