I've used Oakes Appliance several times over the past year or so. Recently they saved me quite a bit of money when our freezer went out. There were a lot of possibilities ranging from a short in the cord to the main port. The office gave me the worse case scenario up front so I could compare repairing vs replacing. I decided to schedule a diagnostic visit and see what was happening. After checking and rechecking everything, a loose wire was found to be the culprit (the unit is 10 years old and been through 2 moves so not totally surprised). I wish I could give 10 stars! Rob and Karen are amazing! They always take such good care of my needs in a speedy efficient manner. They are knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to help. I highly recommend Oakes Appliance and Refrigeration 1000%!!!
Very professional and accommodating. My mom’s refrigerator went out when I was visiting her from out of state. I called Oakes Appliances at 3:50pm and spoke with Annette. She was extremely helpful and reached the owner Rob. Rob made the time to stop by after his last appointment. He saw, the problem and came back the next morning with a new part. I can’t thank Annette and Rob enough for taking the time to squeeze us in between appointments. I would highly recommend!
