Great braiding shop in the Low Country. They just need to update the shop .Every braid is as neat as you would expect ! I don't have to wonder about the outcome of the style ,the braids are always professionally done.Make sure you go to the lady with the baby boy ,or her sister that owns the shop or her sister with the baby girl.The other one (the sister in law )does a great job too but she seems to pull out your edges the most somehow...

Firstly, I’ve gone to Fakha for years, not sure why it took me so long to think of writing a review. I moved to Arizona 5 years ago and to this day fly all the way to South Carolina to have Fakha do my hair. I have yet to find anyone at all who can do it well like fakha! It’s a lot of effort to fly across the country for hair but my crochets and other styles last long, they look nice and she does them quick and painless! I did read through some of these negative reviews and I’d like to offer some considerations for them. In regards to the waiting on arrival, that does happen, but usually if you call her as you leave your home that helps and it’s still worth it for the quality of how the hair looks. For those who were not happy with their hairstyles, I found that I have fakha(the owner herself) do my hair only. You might request her and that may help.

She did a good job on my daughter's hair. And glad you took us at the last minute,, when my other hairdresser canceled at the last minute.But being honest the only thing, I did not like was her leaving to pick up her child. I understand that has to be done, but she should have told me this would have happened. I had an important meeting, I was suppose to attend and missed it. Also they need to tidy up their salon.
