Roper St. Francis Northwoods Emergency Department

I came here because I had a kidney stone that was giving me major issue's. It was quick and the staff and treatment was amazing! I'd gladly come back for any health emergency issue's!

The woman at the front desk was on her phone and didn’t realize I was there. Once I actually got to a room, everyone was very kind. The nurses were attentive and helped to calm me down. The doctor was informative and made sure I understood everything he told me.

Dr. Andy and the nurses were all incredibly kind in a moment of panic. They helped and talked me through what was a scary experience for myself and gave me many options on how to check on a device. They also were kind enough to make sure I was relaxed and not having anxiety regardless on how we proceeded forward. Dr. Andy was kind and understanding of my fears without me having to say everything aloud. I would absolutely see him as a PCM, but both his gentle soul and the kind nurses who saw me are needed in what would've been a terrifying environment otherwise.
