Mr. Danny is such a gentleman and honest businessman. He is one of the last of a dying breed. When I discussed my sewing machine problem with him over the phone, he told me that he would look at and give me an estimate of what it would cost to fix. When I arrived at his shop, he did just that. We discussed the fact that it would cost more to fix than the sewing machine was worth. He did not try to talk me out of having him fix it. He was just completely honest. He has plenty of business because he has MANY sewing machines waiting for him to fix. He is extremely knowledgeable. I will return when I get another machine and it needs work.

Highly recommend, another business wanted to charge me $150 and had no guarantee that they would be able to fix my machine. He was very helpful and talked me through what options we had. Incredible service

I have a vintage pink Singer sewing machine that Mr Danny Bell of Palmetto Sewing Center repaired ! Here's what to know :As of August 2023 , the Palmetto Sewing Center is only open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 - 4pm . Before visiting I would recommend calling just to make sure those hours haven't changed and he's available . The phone number is 843-554-4511. The business is a little hard to find and it's located in kind of a run down area off of Dorchester Road . Just look for the blue building . There's a small sign beside the entry door.
