Great place for combat veterans to get counseling and a plethora of resources. I've gotten a ton of help adjusting to civilian life, navigating a divorce, and I even learned to tie flies and got to go on some amazing fly fishing trips with project healing waters which meets in vet centers nation wide. I highly recommend any combat veteran who needs any mental health or community resources to give them a call.
These people have helped me with so many things. Transition from military to civilian is hard. While the VA struggled to fit me into their schedule, the Vet Center offered free counseling, advice, and many other programs. If it wasn't for the Vet Center in Myrtle Beach, I would have been lost. I am extremely thankful that these individuals cared so much for us Veterans. Thank you!
