This is the place to be! Dr. Mike and his wonderful staff: Catherine, Renee and Natalie are the BEST! I had an emergency situation and Dr. Mike and his great staff did a wonderful job of working with my cat and putting my mind at ease. They are professional and caring, putting my fur baby and his care first. The prices are very reasonable! If you re looking for a caring and loving vet, Dr. Mike and Myrtle Beach Animal Hospital is the place to be!
I was sad to see Dr. Yang leave this practice but Dr. Mike is wonderful! He very knowledgeable about the latest research and new medicines/diets/resources for dogs. He and his staff are great with my pup. I’m so glad this transition was easy and successful for a new vet!

I recently went to Myrtle Beach Animal Hospital to have my 18yr old dog cross the rainbow bridge, which is where I met Dr. Mike for the first time.
He was so compassionate and it was immediately clear that he cares more about the animals than adding onto your bill. If you’re looking for a vet who is attentive, knowledgeable, and who really cares, Dr. Mike and his staff (especially Erica) will take care of you and your pets
