We are new clients of Melissa Ellis with Dutch, our English cream golden. She and her staff are wonderful to work with. We are seeing measurable progress starting with our initial meet. Melissa is so knowledgeable and her expertise in helping us in easy to understand methods has been invaluable. The team at Happy K9 is always accessible and they show a genuine interest in treating you as family. She often follows up to check on our progress and not only helps Dutch but trains us on reacting to all types of encounters. . 5 stars is not enough. Training is made fun for us and Dutch, and her approach only uses positive reinforcement.

My dog is a 15 1/2-year-old Papillon, he is blind, and has diminished hearing and is a picky eater. He gets up sometimes two to three times per night because he often sleeps frequently during the day, that said, my wife and I had to go out of the country for a week and I just could not leave him with a neighbor or just have someone drop in on him infrequently.So, I decided to take him to Happy K9 Academy. I really respect how this business operates, first they asked if I could bring him in for a few hours to see how he would make out, no other boarding facility has ever done that for my dog!I also like that this facility has 24-hour staffing and a security system. ...read full review

Absolutely AMAZING!! This was the first time I have ever boarded & in addition to that my girl is only 6 months old. My girl had outstanding care & love!! The staff promptly answered my messages as I washaving separation anxiety lol. My girl went in happy & came out happy.
