On behalf of the Dengg family, we would like to thank the staff at the Goose Creek location for taking such good care of our Dad's arrangements. Immediately after his passing, two of the staff arrived in the middle of the night to drape a flag cover over his bed (he was a Navy veteran) and left a red rose on Dad's pillow for my Mom. Every detail of his arrangements were done like this - on both a personal and professional level. We also attended the special Christmas service at the funeral home for family members that had lost loved ones in 2023. Very moving. McAlisters provided me with the necessary steps to get through this difficult process. The kindness and respect shown, as well as patience to make the proper decisions, was important. Thank you for guiding me through this painful time in my life.
My mother died in May; although she'd had dementia for several years, her death was somewhat sudden. The team at McAllister Smith was very helpful and kind when it came time to make decisions about cremation and placing a death notice on their website. They followed up on the phone afterwards and they send emails to check on the surviving relatives, too. I can't comment on services since we didn't have one, but I would recommend McAllister-Smith based on the care and compassion shown by everyone there.
