I highly recommend AgSouth for their excellent customer service during the entire loan processing of our land purchase. Robert Allen Pope was always there to explain things to me during the entire loan process.
There is one thing that I wasn’t aware of that I wish I was, and that would be that I was made aware of that there is no option to modify my loan once I have the proceeds from the sale of my home. I wish I have been notified of that is there is no option to have my loan be modified once I sell my current home. I wanted to pay down the loan by $100,000. If you are seeking a financial institution for a home construction loan AgSouth is definitely the the place to be. They had one of the smoothest processes I have ever dealt with. The C2P program they have is hands down the best. They worked with my general contractor and myself with great professionalism. The level of experience and expertise far exceeded my expectations. They were so prompt when responding to emails and getting the draw checks to my contractor in a timely manner so we could move along in the construction of my home.
We had a great experience with Ag South. Deedee is fantastic! She was easily accessible and helped us through every step of the construction loan process. I don't think we could have done it without her. Even during construction she is still there for us if we have any questions. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
