“I never leave reviews. It’s not my thing. But today I have to leave a review. Our dog needed a C-Section. We called a dozen or more clinics. All the local places in Summerville like…well I’m not going to name them. The response was the same every where, Not on a Friday or we are too busy or all the doctors are out. They didn’t care at all. And the emergency clinic wanted over $7000 up front and they gave us little hope. But Dr. Greene and the Knightsville clinic staff came to our rescue. They saved our husky and the puppies. I will forever be grateful for their compassion. May God always bless them“

“Between vet offices I have worked at myself and also taken my own pets to over the last decade, BFAC is hands down the best office ever!!! The staff is so friendly and all extremely knowledgeable about pet care. They were able and willing to work us in during an emergency when our previous vet couldn't be bothered to see us. We've gone to them ever since! We never have trouble scheduling timely appointments-which is a huge issue for most offices lately, and they always go above and beyond for their clients. “Our dog is still in recovery after getting surgery at Hanahan Vet Clinic, but our experience has been nothing but positive. First, they have a note that our dog is leash aggressive and is choosey about her dog friends, so they always make sure no dogs are in the lobby when we bring her in. Second, they are so sweet to Annie even though she can be protective about certain procedures. They think of everything and make sure we're prepared. Third, everyone there really takes their time to explain things to us even when we have a thousand questions. We appreciate their communication more than they know! A bonus: Annie was put under anesthesia for her procedure, and we noticed when we got home that they clipped her nails while she was out!! We got a good laugh out of that and were so thankful for that attention to detail and extra service. She hates getting her nails clipped, and we're so glad they took the opportunity to go above and beyond.“

“Brought our new rescue Jack who had kennel cough from the Berkeley Rescue, which is understandable. A week later Jack had some stomach issues. Wonderful experience Jack did not want to leave. With a rescue you really don’t have much knowledge of his health history. I cannot speak more highly of our experience.“

“I switched to Charleston Heights after a recommendation from my good friend and after having a phone call with the clinic. My dog is older and I was really unhappy with our experience at the vet he had gone to for years. The experience at CH was amazing. From my initial call all my questions were answered and they were so nice and accommodating. We were seen immediately at our appointment and the staff was so patient with my grumpy old man when he was being ornery. It felt like they truly cared about my boy. Pricing is competitive and received a really thoughtful card after our appointment. Highly recommend!“

“Considering it is a walk in clinic, you wait. I went on a Wednesday for the 9am-12pm walk in clinic for vaccines. I arrived at 10am. Upon check in you receive a text with what number in line you are. I was #20 and waited 3 hours to be seen. The nice thing is you can wait in your car and see where you are in line. Overall the staff were friendly and accommodating. The waiting room is large. I would go back keeping in mind the wait. Had I read prior reviews I would've lined up an hour before they opened in hopes of getting a good spot to wait.“

“I cannot express how grateful I am for the wonderful care that my animals received at both Northwoods Veterinary Clinic and their sister clinic West Ashley Veterinary Clinic. The doctors and staff at both veterinary clinics go above and beyond to provide compassionate care to their clients. Having moved from Baltimore to Charleston, I had no idea where to take my animals for care. I had gone to a few veterinary clinics before finding them and once I found them, I knew my animals were going to be taken very good care of. Having worked in veterinary clinics over the past 15 years, both clinics surpassed my expectations of client and patient care. All of the staff from the front to the back are personable, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I am very sad that I no longer live in the area and am able to take my animals here.
