Top notch across the board. The staff are amazing. Incredibly friendly, professional and focused on creating an environment that brings comfort and creates confidence.

I'll especially call out Gabby (apologies if I spelled it wrong). She was so warm and friendly. Just in the briefly time interacting with her, she made us feel so welcome and at ease. :-)

Dr. Jacobson is second to none in my experience. He helped me back in 2020 with one of my English Bulldogs. And back then I was overly impressed with the level of care and compassion. As well as a willingness to walk me through all the details to give me the best possible understanding of what we were dealing with. And now again in 2025, with another one of my English Bulldogs, the experience was even better.

He spent time to first explain to me in great detail the condition my girl is dealing with. But he took the time to draw it out on a white board and broke it all down for me. And he listened when I asked questions and then took to the time to ensure I fully understood the answer. It got me thinking... maybe he could spend some time coaching 'people' docs. ;-)

At any rate, regardless of where I might find myself living in the future, if I ever have a need for veterinary cardiologist, I'll make the trip!“

“Dr Wetzel is the vet to use if you are whelping litters in CHS/Summerville area. Very few docs are proficient in AI and dewclaws and tails. We trust her with our pups.“

“They have always been the best with my pets. They have seen both my pitbull Luna and my cat Mitts. Mitts especially has been a frequent patient. They took great care with him and recommended us out last year when he lost his vision and also recommended us to a great doctor when he needed his eye removed ( he only had the one at the time). Mitts had to take another trip this week because of a urinary issue and they got us in quick (within 3 days). They took great care of him and enjoyed the love he had to give while he wait for us to pick him up. We LOVE Sweetgrass and recommend them highly. “Our dog is still in recovery after getting surgery at Hanahan Vet Clinic, but our experience has been nothing but positive. First, they have a note that our dog is leash aggressive and is choosey about her dog friends, so they always make sure no dogs are in the lobby when we bring her in. Second, they are so sweet to Annie even though she can be protective about certain procedures. They think of everything and make sure we're prepared. Third, everyone there really takes their time to explain things to us even when we have a thousand questions. We appreciate their communication more than they know! A bonus: Annie was put under anesthesia for her procedure, and we noticed when we got home that they clipped her nails while she was out!! We got a good laugh out of that and were so thankful for that attention to detail and extra service. She hates getting her nails clipped, and we're so glad they took the opportunity to go above and beyond.“

“If you need to get your dog's ears cropped, this is the place the gang here is very, I'm helpful and understanding.
There are so few places that do it anymore, and it scares me sometimes of the places that I see, but doctor crowe's name came up a few times in a forum. And also locally on facebook
