**Long read, but so very deserving of the few minutes it took me to write this** Had an amazing experience using Another Handyman! Communication with Gary (Owner) was prompt and professional. I needed a sliding shower door installed for a bathtub and repair a small hole in the drywall. Including Gary, I had reached out to 3 handyman (all 3 were recommended by persons I know who had used them before) - one didn’t even bother to respond back, another did reply but couldn’t understand the installation process after I provided installation manual and a demo video. Gary on the other hand took a look at the installation guide I provided and knew how to get it done and I felt confident going with him! On day of, Gary showed up on time (he did run a few minutes late, but he also sent me a text to let me know he’s running late because the tube of silicon got frozen overnight in his truck and he had to run to the store and get a new tube). The job was planned for 9a-1p, but ended up taking longer and I could tell Gary was taking his time to not rush and make sure everything was done right which I really appreciated! It was 5pm when Gary finally got done! I should also mention that when Gary first got to the house, I showed him one of my window plantation shutters that needed repair and asked if he could help or if I needed to call a shutter specialist, he said it’s an easy quick fix. Well, when he got done at 5pm I was anxious for him to leave as I have to drive an hour to Blythewood to watch Chapin soccer play Blythewood and told him not to worry about the shutters. The next AM, Gary texted at 7:58 to let me know he’s on the way, showed up at 8:30 and fixed my plantation shutter in under 5 minutes AND refused to take any money for that!! I figure a glowing review is the least I could do for him. It’s hard to find a handyman these days and it’s even harder to find a good one but finding Gary is like hitting the JACK POT!
Gary is fantastic, honest and does a great job on anything you can think of for a handyman!!
