It is so hard to find an empathetic and compassionate veterinarian who will listen. That is Dr. Chavis and her team. In one of the most painful decisions I’ve ever had to make she provided calm, supportive, respectful, and clear assistance. The coordination and collaboration with the team at Countryside Companion Care is above board. She genuinely loves what she does and it shows. My sweet Cali was able to pass away in my arms, at home, peacefully and without pain. What an amazing gift. So deeply grateful for this team. I have been taking my dog to have her ears checked because she has a chronic infection to the same vet in Summerville for years. I finally got desperate after my dog developed a hematoma on her ear and went to the countryside companion in Holly Hill. I was completely blown away by their service, their care and their general concern for the well-being of my dog. I will never go anywhere else for veterinary care. My dog is doing so well now!
I had a goat with mastitis and had a difficult time finding a vet that would treat a farm animal. Fortunately, I was recommended Countryside Companion Veterinary Service by the local Clemson extension. We quickly got an appointment to get her treated. The staff were absolutely terrific! They knew how to treat her and educated us about what to do and how to finish out the treatments. Our goat is back to health now thanks to the team at Countryside Companion Veterinary Service.
