I had my first visit today at this office.
I really liked Dr. Sack and had a good visit with him. I felt like he genuinely cared for what was going on with me and wanted to help me get better.

The reason I’m writing this review is not because of the doctor, but more for his support staff. The check-in and checkout process was really painful, and I felt like they did not want anything to do with me. Almost as if they were just annoyed that I was even in their presence. I have been living here part time since 2016 and full time for about 6 months. It is a challenge to find a good doctor that specializes in Internal Medicine that is accepting new patients without a crazy long wait time. So I read some reviews about Dr. Sack and Island Family Medicine and decided to schedule an appointment. The staff I interacted with were very nice and Dr. Sack seems like a practical, no nonsense and straightforward guy. I forgot to fast before my appointment so we couldn't do bloodwork today so my visit was pretty short. I'll get back in next week so they can do the bloodwork & check all my hormone levels and other basics. So far, so good. I'll update the review after I see how easy they are to deal with on insurance & copays and that sort of thing. For today's visit they just filed my insurance and told me I can pay the co-pay next week if my insurance requires one.

Dr Schibler is the best dr I have ever had. She takes her time every time I see her and actually listens to me. I have to move to another state now and I know it will not be easy to find another dr like her.
