Easily the best haircut I've ever gotten. My barber was Chi Chi and I'll be coming to Howard's barbershop to see her from now on. My haircut took longer than usual, but I couldn't be more pleased with it. It showed the high level of care taken when cutting my hair, as opposed to a place like sports clips where you are rushed in and out so they can get to the next person. I've been looking for a good person to go to since moving to Charleston a few months ago, and I've finally found them. Will be recommending to all of my friends and only going here from now on. Thank you again, and WELL DONE!!

Great neighborhood black owned business with a diverse staff, and relaxing atmosphere. Could easily be anyone's go to barbershop for an experienced barber or save a few dollars and taken care of by the new up and coming students perfecting their craft in the student section.

As I attended Howard’s I learn the basic ins and outs of how a barbershop should operate. Multiple speakers that HBSC allow to speak and give tips definitely kept me motivated to keep attending school. Instructors at HBSC really care and will push you as a student to your full potential.
