This tour was amazing and Ms. Sallie Ann is a gem! She’s literally an angel. So incredibly kind, knowledgeable and full of love for the Gullah culture. I would encourage everyone to book a tour with her! You won’t be disappointed.
Our family booked a 3 hour tour under the expertise guidance of Sallie Ann. The experience was beyond 5 stars - if I could give it more I would. Sallie Ann shared the island's rich culture and history but what was so special was learning about her own adventures growing up on the island. The final treat was hearing her sing in the church where she was raised and still attends. This trip is worth the effort - highly recommend!
