“I would give 10 Stars to Dr. Micheal Zolman if I Could. I suffer SLK Eye Disease which makes your eyes really Dry. Dr. Zolman tried everything possible with bringing the inflammation down in my eyes. He would always listen to me and would use his expertise to help me. I been through 15 Eye Dr before I was referred to him. I traveled outside of SC for years trying to find some relief. I couldn't even drive for 2 years with this Disease. I felt like someone threw glass in my eyes every time I blinked I had eye surgery in SC with Dr David O'Day, Mt. Pleasant that cut a piece underneath my top eye lid that cut my nerve and finally told me he could no longer help me. Every time I went to his office by Trident Hospital, he always had new employees and I would have to tell them over and over what I was taking. I went to Duke NC that said yes, he ruined your left eye. I only wished I would have read his reviews. I remember him telling me to call him if it's a Emergency, well I did and the last time I saw him he pointed his finger in my face with my Mom sitting in the room with me and said, Don't ever call me unless it's an emergency. He had a girl which to me in Mt. Pleasant Office that was very Prejudice, she was black, which I am White and I always tried to treat her with respect . She called me one day and said they were going to mail me some eye drops. I said from where? She said that I can't tell you. I knew she was lying and very immature to be working in that field. I was put on 3,000 mg of Gabapentin for nerve pain damage to my left eye. Dr Zolman did some IPL treatments on my eyes and prepared my Autoglous serum tears for my eyes. I am actually the first Patient in SC to receive the new FDA eye drop called Meibo. They have to mail it to you because no pharmacy around here makes it. I called his office yesterday to let him know that they are working excellent on my eyes. Dr Zolman and his staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I had my Eye Ducts temporary plugged to keep moisture in my eyes. Before I started going to Dr. Zolman I was referred to Dr. Grise. I forgot she punched a hole in my Moms eye to where she had to wear a tube in her eye for 6 months because she yelled at my Mom to be still and Mom said she could feel it when she did it. I forgot about that name and went to see her, I asked her if she could plug my upper eye duct and her reply was, I don't feel like it. I got up and said that will be my last time wasting my money on her. She had terrible bedside Manners. We saw that she changed to another facility probably because of bad reviews. I can honestly say if you need a good eye Doctor, Dr. Micheal Zolman is the Doctor you need to see.“

“Took forever to get the appointment after referral from LensCrafters and a couple follow up calls bc I didn’t hear back from them. The appointment was at 9, so I had to leave home at 740 just to make it here to sit.The tech was sweet and apologized then provided an excuse for the delay. But as a customer we should have been advised of the delay/wait or offered to reschedule instead of waiting so long. (That’s would have been better customer service) The tech dilated my eyes at 935.Had 9 am appt and all paperwork done prior to arriving. I still waited over 1hr after being dialated at 935 in the back to just to be seen by doctor at 10:30. WAITING. And waiting.. why book 9 appt if doctor is not showing up til after 10. My Time is money and my time is precious. If ur not considerate of ur customers time then I can’t recommend this place at all even if everyone was nice. (Which they were) I’ve never waited so long to see any doctor.4 stars bc they knew what they were doing but still waited a LONG TIME.“
“I have been going to Dr. Kenney since I was 19 years old I was also his first patient that he saw when he opened his practice. His wife Diane is very helpful and knowledgeable and if she doesn't have an answer for you she will find out for you. His daughter use to work there too as of the last time I visited him. I think all of the problems people are having with the rudeness if any at all should be spoken to Dr. Kenney or his wife Diane instead of posting a bad review on here. “i had a fantastic experience at my eye exam and get new glasses appointment. The optometrist was wonderful and the equipment is state of the art. I did not require eye being dilated as a fantastic machine takes a picture! I saw my floaters and my optic nerve. I was advised of a small cataract that we will watch. I required a new prescription. I had utilized the try glasses at home and had made my selection prior to my appointment. The staff had so much great information and recommendations, I truly appreciated their input. “Wanted to leave a review because I came in to see if my glasses, that I ordered online from another retailer, could be adjusted. They were too tight and leaving deep red marks on my nose. He did say they normally won't do adjustments on glasses that they don't sell because they don't want to accidentally damage them. He still assisted me though and now my glasses feel much more comfortable while I am wearing them. He didn't charge me anything, so I felt this was the least I could do to thank him for taking time out of his day to help me out when he didn't have any obligation to.“
“Dr Devin is by far the best Eye Doctor I have seen in my 42 years of wearing contacts. Met him inside Costco over 5 years ago. I won't see anybody else. He performed miracles in that small dark office. Did I mention small?
Over those 5 years, I have worn the multifocal lenses. He prescribes me 2 different types of lenses. My favorite is the Ciba Vision Monthly but they require care but are so durable & easy to wear. But I have learned that having some Dailys on the shelf becomes a lifesaver. I no longer carry my glasses anywhere. I have not worn them in 3 years.
During those 5 years my eyes have improved immensely. Down 1.75 power in my right eye and down 1.25 power in my left. I contribute that to Dr Devin. I still need reading glasses though for the real fine print.
Wish he was still on this side of town but I will gladly make that drive to Daniel Island. That truly is where he belongs. Quality of care is that Great!!
Coming up on my prescription renewal visit so I look forward to seeing the new office.
