We hired Red Shirt Guy’s Roofing to replace a 21 year old, residential, roof in June 2024. They were one of three quotes we obtained and were price competitive. Communication (Kenny in sales, office staff & Roy the site manager) was excellent. Their attention to detail, property protection and cleanup were all top notch. Product and installation techniques were both excellent. In our case, the project was completed under the quoted price and they adjusted it without prompting.
Be forewarned, each roof project is unique and some minor issues will pop-up, but these folks are straightforward, informed us in a timely manner and resolved every concern in a professional and polite way.

UPDATE: October 2024. After Hurricane Helene rolled thru we had a small amount of damage to a siding trim piece adjacent to a gable roof section. Called the RS Guy’s who responded quickly, fixed the issue, added additional nails to prevent any recurrence and charged me zero. They stand behind their work, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.“

So I searched again and found LA Roofing online. Luiz was on time to inspect my roof leak and spent time taking pictures of areas on my roof that needed attention. His crew was at my home two days later and replaced all the deteriorating roof jacks and also replaced shingles and sealed exposed nails. Looks great and also so far my roof isn’t leaking anymore. I did have one issue with a shingle and they came back out and fixed it. They even painted the white roof vent pipes black and I didn’t even ask them to do that. Looks nice. The office manager, Luiz, and the crew are very friendly and they can be trusted. If I’m still at this house and I need my roof replaced I’m calling these guys!“

“Chris, the owner, and his team did an outstanding job on the 16’x27’ roof over our back patio. It had to be tied into two rooflines, the main house and the sunroom. It looks like it’s always been part of the house. They also replaced some windows and repaired some rot under the windows in the existing sunroom. Chris’s team was detailed, strove for perfection and went above and beyond what we expected. Chris listened to what our vision was and met it perfectly. “This is a follow-up to my previous rating if I could go negative insteadof 1 star i would!.My name once again is Tina and Alpha Omega is Roofing Company us who DRB Group of Raliegh contracted to roof my new home. I had a roof leak which flooded by front room and Alpha Omega did not respond after multiple calls for help but only after a FB review of their service. Representative Tania finally contacted me and had her fellow manager arrange for a service call which came a day late and left without doing anything as it started as it started rain without doing anything. I spoke with the field manager while his team was on site he committed to having his team back at my home "First thing" in the morning today and he committred repaired and completing work not done by fis company as part of new build commitment to quality . He did not follow thru Nor has the roof technicians arrived to do what he committed to. 1 replace flashing 2 complete Never the completedp post build "punch" clean up repairs 3 Honor the builders contracted roof warranty.“

“Yesterday I noticed a stain on my ceiling indicating a leak in the roof. I called Goodwin roofing immediately, having used them in the past. Chris Godwin came to my house that afternoon, checked out the problem, noted a few other things that needed to be done and gave me a very reasonable quote. He and his crew were here at 7:00 am, made the repairs, went around the house and re-nailed a few places that the aluminum fascia were coming loose and fixed those without my asking.
