I visited Xavier for my first full barber experience, in preparation for engagement photos I was taking with my fiancé. He was meticulous, gentle, a great conversationalist, and made sure I walked out of his salon looking first class. My lady couldn’t take her eyes off of me. Couldn’t be happier with the results. 10/10 will be back for my wedding.

Working with Xavier was a pleasure. His expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail were clear from the moment we started. This is hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had (and I’ve had plenty!), and the added bonus was being pampered throughout.
I’m a business owner from Asheville, NC, and we came to Charleston to seek refuge after Hurricane Helene. I really needed some quality self-care, and Oliver Lux delivered exactly that.
Lauren is so talented. I came in a bleach blonde a year ago, my hair looks the perfect shade of cool blonde but it’s so healthy. Each time I’ve been back she takes her time to see - where I’ve been vs where I want to go, I’ve never felt rushed or that I didn’t get what I wanted. Side note- I have long, very thick/ hard to handle hair. I’ll be coming back for years to come! The salon is a really cool vibe, super cute inside.
