I was looking for a barber shop and found this place on Yelp - when I pulled up it had an open sign on the door but no signage. When I stepped in to ask about a hair cut, I was met with a warm "come on in, and a smile from Ms. Tankersley. I told her I was looking for Clemson House Barbershop and she informed that her husband was the barber and that sadly he passed away in 2022. She also shared that her daughter had passed recently and she was now running the tax service her daughter ran- Tankersley Services. I have already done my taxes this year, so I didn't need that service this time, but if you are looking for tax service maybe stop by and check it out. She was very pleasant! She also had one client leaving when I walked in, and another one coming in when I walked out.

Just got my fresh shave from the best barber in the upstate! He takes his time and really pulls out all the stops to make sure every haircut is the best you have ever gotten. Go visit you won’t regret! ??

Hey I'm Mike, I have worked here at the Clemson House Barber Shop since 2012 and have really enjoyed meeting everyone that I have met.. my grandad (Shorty) started here in the early 60's and my dad Dennis Late took it over in 1966. We have all worked behind the same chair. Hope to see you soon!
