She also had me do an amazing Moroccan Oil hair mask that did WONDERS for my hair.<br><br>She took the time to separate my appointments so I wasn’t damaging my hair when I decided I wanted to lighten it. “I have been coming to the Velvet Edge salon just shy of 3 years and I can honestly say it’s the best salon I have ever been too! I realized I have never written a review for this wonderful place and now that I am scheduled for my last appointment because I am moving up north, I will miss this place the most! The whole vibe when you are here is total self care relaxation. From its cozy decor with lots of places to lounge while your color processes, to the yummy drink menu and snacks, the lather lounge that could make you fall asleep from how serene it is to just the overall welcomeness of everyone that works there is top notch! Also, I love that when you are there, the time is only for you, and your stylist isn’t trying to do a service for someone else in between yours so it’s truly a one on one experience where you aren’t being held up due to them trying to balance multiple clients at once. “My first experience at Golden Shears was amazing. Very cozy, welcoming, and friendly environment. Salon was very clean and well taken care of. They were able to bring my hair from greasy gold go a platinum blonde and even stayed extra extra late to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.<br><br>My hair hair is transformed and I feel more confident with it then I did walking in. “Till is little best stylist I’ve ever been to. I have always had long, but fine hair. Till does an amazing job cutting my hair so that it looks full without losing the length that I want to keep. The color he uses doesn’t damage my hair and he’s extremely detail oriented. He keeps notes on each client so that he knows exactly what he did last time so that he can replicate that if you want to do the same color again. He’s thoughtful and doesn’t rush. I won’t go to anyone else.<br><br>Requested style: I like to get two levels of highlights to help blend the gray without doing all over color. I get long layers cut that blend smoothly and give my hair more volume.<br><br>Hair type: My hair type is long, but fine and aging (I’m 52 at the time of this post).<br><br>Stylist: Till is very precise in everything he does and I appreciate that. In comparison to other stylists who wing it and try to replicate what they did the last time you visited them, he has taken meticulous notes and easily produces the same desired results. He wants you to be happy with your cut and style. It’s a high end experience that I would expect to receive in New York or LA.“
