South Carolina Equine Park is a popular destination for camping weekend horse shows. It features lovely rings, covered arenas, and barns. Some stall doors are difficult to close and the PA system needs improvement. The park could benefit from additional toilets. Despite these minor issues, the facility is well-maintained and frequently updated, making it a favorite among horse enthusiasts.
We dropped round to see a grand child compete in a regional semifinal equine event...had a good crowd..
Didn't manage any photos as we were called away on other issues...arghh
I think the venue is great. The stables are clean, the arenas are well maintained, and the staff is great. There are several people/companies who will deliver and set up a camper for you on-site, so you dont need to find lodging elsewhere if you dont own a LQ horse trailer.
This and Lake Waccama are our two favorite places for a camping weekend horse show. Great place to camp and relax, and just a quick 10-12 minute drive into town if you need anything.
