“We have been going to Northside for the last couple of years. We originally switched from another provider in Spartanburg, not for anything bad, but mainly for distance to our home. I have found the Doctor and staff to be fantastic. They alerted me to potential problems and how they were checking annually to ensure we addressed them if needed. The frame selection is good, and for the first time in my life, I was able to get the same frames that I had last year (and I love). Price-wise, it is obviously insurance-dependent, but I am paying less now than I did a few years back. Lastly, I was told to expect my frames back in two weeks, and I received my progressives with all the bells and whistles in 5 business days (even with a holiday and weekend in the middle)! So quick!“

“Early March 2019 I made a very last-minute appointment after losing my last contact lens and postponing an optometry appointment until literally it was a necessity. Usually I go to the Walmart Vision Center at Dorman Center but they had left for the day and when I called hillcrest walmart the receptionist could not have been more helpful or polite. She explained they were full for the day but if something came up she would let me know. 20 minutes later she calls me on her break to tell me the dr said I could come in after his last appointment and he would make time to see me. Rarely does going to a doctor appointment put you in a good mood but their kindness and professionalism was a delight and in the future when I need an eye exam I will probably drive the extra 10 miles to this store despite living so close to the Dorman center store because they were that nice. I cannot recommend them high enough.“

“Took my 16 year old son here who has wore eyeglasses since kindergarten and this was the best eye Dr experience i have ever witnessed him encounter. They were very helpful and explained things to my son in so much more detail than ever before. It was so much better that seeing him just tell the Dr numbers on the machine and being handed a prescription... Love this place wish we would of found it sooner...“
