We had a walk in shower put in and we had a large garden tub removed and they had to build a wall and it’s covered in tile so is the walls and floor it’s beautiful BUT when they removed tub down at the beginning of shower where you go in to walk down to the shower head they did not put a drain by entrance only one at the front where shower head is and the water lays on far end in puddles and don’t drain! We had to buy a squeegee to push water down to drain it’s a pain and I am not happy! The only way to fix this would probably be for the tile to me taken up and a second drain installed anyway if you get them to do this for you be sure to get two drains!!!!
Buyer beware...If you are having tile flooring installed, I would not recommend May River Flooring. We had problems with a master bath remodel right from the beginning. The 1st plumber didn't know what they were doing, wrong floor drain for stand alone tub, incorrect water lines run and re-cemented into the slab floor. Then the tile install, the tiles (General Ceramics - 12"x24" were warped. They didn't check the tiles until the job was almost complete and then stated they should have recommended a different offset. When addressing the issue with the owner Robbie, he kept making excuses for each issue. Poor management, no customer service and terrible communication on the job. Sold a great job up front, but failed to deliver. Buyer beware, you have been warned, and I'm not the only one!!!After Robbie, the owner, read this review, I got a text message from him the next day. "Wow Nice thanks. For the review. U jerk"I responded with;"Wow is right. This is not what I would call a professional customer service response. How about asking for suggestions on how we can do better. All through our interactions, you always tried to come up with and excuse and redirect. Take accountability and remedy shortcomings from this job."
May river floored my entire 4k sqft home including guest house. The quality of work was average at best. The customer service was poor. Once I gave them the job and the deposit, they acted like they were doing me a favor. They overlooked transitions between rooms, nail holes, etc. and then played d*** when I pointed these out, then corrected. The only thing keeping them coming back to finish was the final payment. Any professional would not have played these games. On the last day one of their employees took a #2 in one of the bathrooms and flushed it with paper towels, causing a clog and huge mess.
