About Eagle's Pointe Golf Club

Eagle's Pointe Golf Club is a public-access golf course located on Highway 278, seven miles west of Hilton Head Island. Designed by Davis Love III, the course offers a classic risk-reward design, natural beauty, and strategy. Visitors have reported a generally positive experience, with friendly staff, manageable holes, and decent fairways and greens. The course is praised for its beautiful layout and affordable price, making it a good choice for those seeking a low-cost golf experience. Guests appreciate that the clubs rented are nice, and the golf cart includes a cooler with ice to keep drinks cold. The course is in decent shape, with fairways and tee boxes generally in good condition. However, some areas, such as cart paths, tee boxes, and sand traps, may require maintenance. The greens on the back nine have been known to have weeds, and some tee boxes have very little grass, while bunkers need work. Despite these issues, the course provides good value, especially for beginners who are okay with sub-par conditions. With its welcoming atmosphere and reasonable prices, Eagle's Pointe remains a popular destination for golfers in the area.

A fine course if you are playing multiple courses during your visit. Very nice layout but there are some repairs needed. Cart path is tough to drive on, rough is better. Some greens being repaired but crabgrass around greens makes putting off the green difficult. Similar to my home course up north except I pay half the price.

Course in decent shape. A few greens on the back 9 were a little spotty, but you can see they are making an effort to fix them. Fairways and tee boxes were good. The only downer was the cart path. Dangerously bumpy over tree roots.

Despite reading previous reviews about questionable course conditions, was very pleased with the round I enjoyed yesterday. From tee to green, everything was in good condition. Was it as pristine as Harbour Town? No, but for the price it was a course I would gladly play again. Would play here again before I played Crescent Pointe again, greens in much better condition.
