While it’s convenient having a VA hospital 25-30 minutes away, the inability to contact your primary care team, the lack of empathy, and short staffing makes it nearly not worth the time. I have had service related pain for 6 months, and was seen and actually felt cared for more by the main campus in Charleston more than any of my visits with the medical team at Beaufort. Beaufort’s only saving grace is the mental health professionals like Dr. Court and Dr. Mundee. Those two women saved my life, but the physical care team needs work. In my experience with VA's clinics from NY to FL the waits times are typically terrible. At this location it is not the case. I am usually in and out fairly quickly and the staff is always polite and answers any question asked. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
