“Let me first just say that I have NEVER been to an eye doctor that cares so much about making you feel at home and comfortable! I have always had really bad anxiety, but especially when someone or something gets close to my eyes. When I had my visit yesterday, and they called me back I suddenly got super nervous when I saw the pressure test coming towards my eye! Every other eye doctor I have been to, I would get snarky comments, eye rolling, and impatience while I would ask for a minute to breathe and compose myself. That was definitely not the case here! Hannah and another lady(I wish I would have gotten her name) literally stood there and took the time to let me calm myself and actually helped me by telling me to breathe bc I kept holding my breath! This was only the first 5 minutes of my visit! The rest of my visit, not only did I feel relief because they helped instead of passing judgement and getting impatient, but then when I met Dr. Mak the visit showed me even more how much this team cares! She asked me every question with the utmost patience(while my kids sat and interrupted her so many times knowing they shouldn’t have been smh) but she didn’t mind. She included them telling me she was a mom also so she understood. Moral of review is they make you feel like family!! Instead of dreading my eye appointments, now I can walk in confidently knowing that I’m in good hands! Thank you also to the team in the front as well, they were also super nice and respectful and one of them, who helped me pick my frames even sat there and helped me find which frame looked best! I told my husband last night that I don’t think I have ever been so excited for a pair of glasses because I got the cutest frames! ? thank you all at Carolina Eye Care for making me feel like family instead of just a new patient! For once in my life I will actually look forward to my eye exams!“
