I have known Chris to many years. He is not only a good friend, he is amazing at his trade! I suffer from very tight/tense neck and shoulder muscles due to stress and minor scoliosis. Chris’ treatments are gentle and effective. I have seen a multitude of pain management type practitioners including chiropractors, massage, dry needling, physical therapists, and doctors. None of them provided the type and amount of pain relief as I have received with Chris’ treatments. When I was consistently seeing Chris, I noticed a HUGE difference in my pain to the point I was pain free for a year without any treatments. Throughout the years, I lived in different cities in SC and I tried to find practitioners who used modalities similar to Chris- but I didn’t even find one who came close. When we moved back to Aiken, I immediately made an appointment with Chris. I trust him and know he is an expert in his field and passionate about his work! Also Erica who works with him does wonderful massage. It is the perfect compliment after the treatment. She helps to soothe my aching muscles and I leave relaxed. I continue to see them for pain management maintenance and when muscles get inflamed. If you are in pain- you MUST make an appointment with Chris! You will not regret it!
I'm a professional horse shoer which is very physically demanding work. I have been going to Chris for accupuncture regularly for the past 8 years and I plan to continue receiving accupuncture regularly for as many years as possible. Even though I'm on the younger side (25) I've been lucky to have Chris to relieve all my aches and pains and maintain my muscular health. I've tried massage, chiropractor, and going to yoga classes on a regular basis, but nothing tops Chris' form of accupuncture. Not to disregard other forms of bodily rehabilitation, I also use these other methods occasionally to be holistic but the healing stimulation to the muscles and nerves that accupuncture provides is superior for tension relief and muscle cleansing. My fiancé has even started getting acupuncture treatments and Chris has made a world of difference for some of her long term muscular injuries. My father who is still a full time horse shoer at the age of 62 gives a massive amount of credit to Chris for his physical well being. Over all, I highly recommend acupuncture to anyone with chronic or temporary muscular or nervous system pains, it's miraculous! Even if it takes a bit of pain and a few sessions, acupuncture truly is one of the best medicines in existence. I hope you give it (and Chris) a go!
