This place is incredibl! A throw style shop, the kind a barbershop that you start going to as a you boy. The smell alone brings you back to simpler times. The outstanding haircut is just a bonus. Even the WWII vintage photo hanging in the restroom forces your mind back to reminisce. Mark has been cutting hair for more years than he's willing to admit to.

Although on occasions the wait can be very long during the busy hours, I believe it is worth it. I've been going there since I was about 9 years old. They have gotten 41 years of my business and that should tell you something. Also I do not live in the neighborhood anymore and I still travel at least a half hour past other barber shops just to have my haircut by Mark and Al.

Louie's is awesome! It's like cheers and you're the mailman. Plus, if you're cool about it (not illegal), the guys will let you bring a few beers for while you wait and get your hair cut. Great cuts....haven't been there in 2 years since I moved. Also, it's the best place to watch the news and have some awesome politically incorrect banter. Oh, btw...if that offends you....well, that's ok, swing over, you'll still get a SLAMMIN haircut! As you can tell, i miss this joint...just got a lousy haircut where I'm at now.
